Is an English film and television director, writer, and actor. Wainwright was born in Cotswolds, UK and started his film career in the 1980s as an actor.
Wainwright directed/produced several MC Hammer music videos which contributed to him becoming a worldwide phenomenon. He has also worked with artists such as NWA and Micheal Jackson winning five MTV Video Music Awards, a Grammy Award (nominated for two) and several others.
